Join us for the 6th Annual “Noche de Ninos” Charro Days Festvites. The evening will feature food and refreshments, family fun, a lively atmosphere and a spectacular view of the famous Charro Days Twilight Parade.

Imagine, discover, and explore a worlds that’s too small to see. NanoDays 2012 is a natonwide celebra-tion f nanoscale science. Join us and enjoy nano-related actiites through the Children’s Museum of Brownsville.

Chalk Art Festival April 14, 2012
The Chalk Art Festival is open to all youth and adults who are interested in expressing their artistic talent with chalk using sidewalk space as their canvas. The CMB is proud to host the first ever Chalk Art Festival in the Rio Grande Valley. This year is our 4th Annual Chalk Art Festval in Dean Porter Park . Artists adission is $10 per square per person. A towel and knee pad will be provided. Cash Prizes, music, games and fun in the sun are all part of this fantastic festival.

Teddy Bear Clinic September 15, 2012
Bring your Teddy or favorite stuffed animal or doll for a checkup at the Seventh Annual Teddy Bear Clinic! Doctors from Valley Baptist Health Systems will conduct full evaluatons for any stuffed animal at the Children’s Museum of Brownsville. They will check patients’ ears, eyes and heart and educate children on the importance of doctor’s visits. Parents can receive a child photo identification card, complete with fingerprints, to be used in emergency situatons. The Brownsville Fire and Police Department will be on-hand for children’s safety workshops. Bring your teddy bear and don’t miss this “beary special” day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

A Night at the Museum (Big Kid only event A.K.A. Adults)
Celebrate the Fifth Annual “A Night at the Museum” evening event with the Children’s Museum. This enchanted evening is highlighted with entertainment, delicious cuisine and a spectacular live and silent auctin.

KidFest October 27, 2012
Join us for fall festivities at the Children’s Museum of Brownsville with games, crafts, face painting and a costume contest.

Dear Santa - December 8, 2012
Join us in a Candy Land of sweet joy, December 8th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Take your picture with Santa, send a letter to the North Pole and partcipate in our annual Gingerbread House Workshop for $3.00

Noon Year’s Eve - December 30 & 31, 2012
