Teddy Bear Clinic - Saturday, September 18
BRING YOUR TEDDY OR FAVORITE STUFFED ANIMAL FOR A BEARY HEALTHY AND SAFETY CHECK UP at the Fifth annual Teddy Bear Clinic! Doctors from Valley Baptists Health Systems will conduct full evaluations for any stuffed animal at the Children’s Museum of Brownsville.  They will be checking patients’ ears, eyes and heart and educating children on the importance of doctor’s visits.  Health and Nutrition sessions will be given. There will be free blood sugar screenings for adults.  Parents will obtain child photo identification cards, complete with fingerprints, to be used in emergency situations.  Plus, the Brownsville Fire and Police Department will be on-hand for children’s safety workshops.  Bring your teddy bear and don’t miss this “beary special” day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

Travel to Mexico, Brazil, Japan and many more countries in one day! Tastes of worldwide cultures will come to the Children’s Museum with food, music, dance presentations, cultural artifacts and guest speakers. Children will have the opportunity to take a CMB passport with them to each country.

Dear Santa - Saturday, December 11
Come to the Children’s Museum of Brownsville on Saturday, December 11th from 12p.m. to 2p.m. and celebrate the Holiday Season at CandyLand!  You will be able to take your picture with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, send a letter to the North Pole and participate in a fabulous Gingerbread House Workshop! 

Season of Giving - Thursday, December 16 (Exclusive Membership Party)

Noon Year’s Eve - Thursday, December 30th and Friday, December 31st
Imagine a glittery, glitzy ball suspended in the Children’s Museum of Brownsville. A lobby packed with excited kids and their grownups, all with their own sheet of bubble wrap. The countdown . . . 10 – 9 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1! Happy New Year! The ball drops and everyone jumps all over the bubble wrap and gets showered by rainbows of confetti and balloons.

This is Noon Year’s Eve at the Children’s Museum of Brownsville.  Make your New Year’s hat, grab your noisemaker and join us in this fun atmosphere to ring in the New Year just like Times Square- right here in the Valley!
